What does each pole mean?
In biomagnetism, we work with magnets that have two polarities:
⚫ Negative (black side)
🔴 Positive (red side)
Each pole has a specific purpose in the body, and its application has different effects depending on the area being treated.
Negative pole (black): Calm and reduce inflammation
The negative pole is mainly used to:
✔️ Reduce inflammation
✔️ Relax tense or stressed areas
✔️ Neutralise overactive processes
It’s ideal when we want to ease discomfort, calm irritated tissue or bring down inflammation.
Positive pole (red): Stimulate and balance
The positive pole is used in areas where we want to:
✔️ Stimulate energy
✔️ Improve circulation or movement ✔️ Support regeneration and recovery
It complements the negative pole to help balance the treated area.
What if I use both poles together?
Great question! When we use both poles at the same time, we’re applying what’s known as dual polarity. This helps treat a full area more deeply and holistically. It’s particularly useful in areas with energy blockages, ongoing discomfort or deeper imbalances.
